# How To Update The Indicator (Windows)

### Step 1: 

Go to the TradingLab [Discord.](https://discord.com/channels/961751592737067028/1005654418424860802) Once in the Discord, go to the channel called "Private-Indicator". This channel will contain the latest version of the indicator installer. Download that file to your computer.

Note: Sometimes windows security/antivirus software will give you trouble when trying to install exe files. ### Step 2:&#x20;

After downloading the exe installer file, run it on your computer.&#x20;

Next, agree to the licensing terms of use

Click "Next"&#x20;

Lastly, make sure MetaTrader is closed and press "Install"&#x20;

### Step 3:&#x20;

Close out of the options window and go to the left side of your screen to the "Navigator" window. Expand the "Indicators" icon. Under "Indicators", delete the previous version of the indicator and drag the latest version of the TradingLab indicator icon to your chart.&#x20;

Note: If you can't see the navigator window, go to "View->Navigator" and click on this icon to get this window to appear on the left side of your screen&#x20;

### Step 4:&#x20;

Upon dragging the indicator to your chart, a window will appear. Make sure you check "Allow DLL Imports".&#x20;

Go to the "Inputs" tab and under "email" double click the grey input box and type in the email that you signed with on tradinglab.ai.&#x20;

Press OK and now the new updated indicator should be added to your chart.
